Athletic Conditioning Reformer Series

Serious athletes, whether professional or amateur, benefit from performance enhancement training. This high-caliber workout is designed for all types of athletes, even the weekend warrior. Always initiating from the core, you'll learn how to retrain muscles that may have become unbalanced and take you body to a new level of strength and agility. Prerequisite: at least one Group Reformer Series.

Happy Hour Pilates Series

Don't be a part of the traffic problem- be a part of the solution. Avoid Rush Hour and pull into Happy Hour at Bodycenter Studios. This challenging Pilates series will de-stress your body from your day job and free your mind. This class uses a lot of props. It's a surprise every time you come.

BOSU™ Series

This challenging 6 week series will take your mat exercises to a new level. Flat on one side and domed on the other, the unstable nature of the BOSU™ makes it an ideal tool for establishing and reinforcing balance, stability and proprioception while you gain core strength.

Spherical instability meets gravity. Both traditional mat and equipment exercises will be integrated using the Stability Ball, enhancing strength and coordination while promoting a greater sense of balance.

Pilates for New Mothers

This class is ideal for new moms who want to regain strength and core connection. This class will target areas that are particularly important to mothers - core strength, arm and shoulder stability, and back support. Bring your baby or take some time for yourself.

 

Group Reformer Series

A concert of fluid, core-centered choreography, all performed on the Reformer. Class size is limited to 4 people to provide individualized attention in this group setting.

One private session is the pre-requisite to register for this series.

Jumpboard Interval Group Reformer Series

Innovative jumpboard combinations, separated with intervals of upper and lower body strength and flexibility exercises on the Reformer. This ultimate cardio/strength interval class will offer a great core challenge, enhanced body strength, and get your heart pumping- all while focusing on proper jumping technique. Try out this outstanding new class.

*Due to the intense nature of the jumpboard class, this series may not appropriate for those with injuries. Please consult a Studio Director.

One private session is the pre-requisite to register for this series. We also recommend that clients have taken a previous Group Reformer Series.

Pilates for Climbers Series

This class was specifically designed to meet the needs of climbers…but others will find this class useful! The focus is on balancing and alignment and strength of the shoulder girdle, neck and upper back while increasing mobility and flexibility of the legs and hips. Cross-training with Pilates is useful in neutralizing the hunched shoulders and tight neck posture. We will also focus on full body coordination and core strength.

 

Pilates for Golfers Series

Many professional golfers have found Pilates to greatly improve their form and now so can you! This class will focus on core strength, rotation, spinal alignment and shoulder girdle strength. Learning to move efficiently can only add yardage to your drives and shave strokes from your game. Get ready for the upcoming summer season now with this specific Pilates-focused class.

 

Gyrokinesis® Series

Gyrokinesis® is a fluid system of movements designed to connect breathing and spinal dynamics. Seated on low stools, the class mobilizes the spine through a series of arching, curling, bending, twisting and spiraling movements. This stimulates the nervous system and opens up energy pathways. Invigorate your body and find fluidity linked to power. Class size is limited, so sign up early!

 

Yamuna Body Rolling™ Series

Yamuna Body Rolling ™ consists of a series of routines using balls designed exclusively for self-massage. It allows you to work specific muscles in detail, to create suppleness in tight areas and optimize range of motion.

YBR™ re-educates muscles and stimulates bone, creating positive, permanent changes in the body. The routines follow specific sequences that match the body's own logic and order. They take you from the origin of the muscle at the tendon, elongating the muscle while stimulating the bone and soft tissue.

Working with the body's own gravity, the exercises ease movement in the muscles to the point of relaxation, offering weight-bearing exercises, with the benefits of a deep self-massage. It helps stretch and elongate your muscles, dislodge tension and discomfort, increase blood flow, and promote healing. It’s Health, Fitness & Massage rolled into one!
