The Knee Workshop

Ellen will review the anatomy of the knee and give us a closer look at the patellofemoral joint. Look at why the knee can end up being “the weak link” in the leg, making the hip and ankle do more than their fair share of the work.
We will also discuss common knee diagnoses and look at faulty movement patterns.

Finally, we will explore what STOTT PILATES™ offers to emphasize knee alignment and strength.

Dynamic Balance Stability Ball Level 2 Workshop

Stepping up to level two of the Stability Ball workouts, torso stability is further challenged with major emphasis placed on balance and proprioception.

Learn how to transform the machine to explore selected
Essential – level exercises on the Mat, Reformer and Cadillac. Discover how to cue, correct and modify for individuals and groups to make the most of each workout. This workshop is guaranteed to keep you and your clients challenged, motivated and coming back for more.

Many of the new exercises can also be performed on the Rehab Reformer.

This workshop teaches intermediate level exercises that challenge core and peripheral strength, and add variety and multi-dimensional joint movements to the basic Flex-Band Exerciser® routine.Emphasis is on upper and lower body working together while maintaining correct alignment and form.
